Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the restraint and handling of animals during examinations and treatments.
- Prepare examination rooms and surgical areas by cleaning and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
- Assist with the collection of laboratory samples such as blood and urine.
- Ensure the hospital and examination areas are clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Provide general support to veterinarians, veterinary technologists, and other staff as needed.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; some post-secondary education in animal care or veterinary assisting preferred.
- Prior experience working with animals in a veterinary or shelter setting preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Commitment to providing compassionate and high-quality care to animals.
