Dr. Sophie Fournier-Graillon
Dr. Sophie Fournier-Graillon was born and raised in Quebec and has had a lifelong love for animals and the outdoors. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Université de Montréal, Saint-Hyacinthe campus, in 2023, and went on to complete a one-year rotating internship in small animal medicine at the DMV Veterinary Center in Montreal. During her internship, Sophie discovered a strong interest in emergency medicine for its intensity, variety, and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in critical moments for both patients and their families.
In September 2024, she relocated to Calgary to be closer to the mountains, where she can fully enjoy her passion for climbing, skiing, hiking, and all things outdoors. Outside the clinic, you’ll often find Sophie exploring the Rockies, discovering new climbing routes, or unwinding at home with her senior Goldendoodle, who now prefers cozy naps over mountain adventures.
